Quetta Galdiators' captain Sarfaraz Ahmed said that he will bat at top of the order in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.
Speaking to media at a local event, Sarfaraz said he will try to continue his form from Tests into T20 format.
“I am confident after my recent performances,” said former Pakistan captain who scored a Test-saving century against New Zealand in Karachi.
“PSL 8 is very important. I will try to focus on my performance. I will be batting at number three or four this season for Gladiators and will try to give my best,” 2019 PSL winning captain added.
Sarfaraz will lead Gladiators in eighth consecutive season this year.
The wicket-keeper batter is considered one of the successful Pakistani captains.
PSL 8 exhibition match
Sarfaraz will lead Quetta Gladiators in the exhibition match against Peshawar Zalmi on February 5.
This match will be played at Quetta’s Bugti Stadium. The toss will take place at 11am whereas the match will start at 11:30am.
